Meanwhile, severe thunderstorms are expected once again across areas of the Central and Southern Plains, then spreading in the Mississippi Valley regions on Monday. The National Weather Service began providing forecast services for 2 locations on the Cedar River in Iowa on January, 15, 2019. The two sites are the Cedar River at Palo and the Cedar River at Cedar Bluff.
