A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong storms developed late Thursday evening across north central IA and moved southeast. These storms quickly became severe and entered Keokuk county. Numerous downed trees, crop damage, and large hail were reported. The northwest portions of the county received 2+ inches of rain in a short amount of time and wind gusts between 60-70 mph were also observed. |
