Severe thunderstorms will be possible from the central Plains to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Monday. Overview

  • A wide swath of 6 to 10 inches of snow fell across parts of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois from the late evening of Feb. 11 into the early morning of Feb. 13.
     
  • Much of the area saw completely snow-covered roads with numerous accidents, towing restrictions, and school and business closures on Feb. 12.
