Heavy Rainfall and Flooding in the Southwest and Four Corners; Unsettled Weather in Florida

Heavy to excessive rainfall will continue today across portions of the Southwest and Four Corners Region, leading to flash, urban and small stream flooding. Systems and Facilities Division (SFD)

The Systems and Facilities Division (SFD) manages the operations and maintenance of the various systems and facilities which support the NWS Western Region weather enterprise. Examples include Doppler Radar (WSR-88D), Automated Surface Observing Systems (ASOS), NOAA Weather Radio (NWR), Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS), local and wide area networks, buildings, grounds, and towers, just to name a few.
