There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

High pressure will build into the area through the weekend. While this will bring dry and mild conditions, it will also favor valley temperature inversions which will result in building concentrations of haze in typically prone northern Utah valleys. This haze will likely be most pronounced Friday and Saturday, before a weak grazing storm system brushes by around Sunday.
In contrast to our recent weather, starting around Christmas through next week will be more active, with a series of weak systems moving through the region, with each trough becoming slightly more potent and/or moisture-rich than the previous one. Primarily expect valley rain and mountain snow and elimination of valley inversions. Stay weather aware while planning holiday travel.
