Record Warmth Lingers; Fire Weather Concerns; Unsettled Pacific Northwest

More record warm temperatures are forecast this week from California, Southwest, Plains then into the Mississippi Valley and Southeast. The warmth combining with dry conditions may result in elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions. Welcome to the Western Region Headquarters Integrated Services Division

 

The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

  • providing operational IDSS guidance 
  • managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
  • managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate 
  • providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures 
  • developing regional policies and guidance 

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
