Dangerous Heatwave Across the Western U.S; Hot and Humid in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic

A heatwave is poised to bring record-breaking temperatures across the Western United States through the weekend. Triple digit high temperatures are expected as Excessive Heat Warnings are in effect. The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

providing operational IDSS guidance
managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate
providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures
developing regional policies and guidance

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
