Record Heat for the Intermountain West and Northern Plains; Heavy Rainfall and Severe Weather Threats

Record setting heat is expected over the next several days from the Intermountain West through the northern Plains. Furthermore, fire weather concerns increase with dry and breezy conditions. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorm threats for the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys, central Appalachians and Southeast today. Administrative Management Division (ADM)

The Western Region Administrative Management Division serves as the regional focal point for a wide variety of administrative activities in support of operations. The mission of this Division is to provide advice, guidance, and support to the Regional Director, managers and field offices on budget formulation and execution, personnel management, procurement, asset accountability, travel, and time and attendance procedures. Other general administrative functions include overseeing telecommunications and utilities billing, mail and copy services, printing requirements, physical security, records and files, government vehicles, supply and warehousing, convenience check and purchase card procedures.
