Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding Concerns in California; Heavy Snow in the Sierra

An atmospheric river will bring heavy rainfall to lower elevations of California this week, and heavy snow to the Sierra Nevada mountains. Flash flooding, some of which may be locally considerable, will be a concern on the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains through Tuesday. The Western Region Administrative Management Division serves as the regional focal point for a wide variety of administrative activities in support of operations. The mission of this Division is to provide advice, guidance, and support to the Regional Director, managers and field offices on budget formulation and execution, personnel management, procurement, asset accountability, travel, and time and attendance procedures. Other general administrative functions include overseeing telecommunications and utilities billing, mail and copy services, printing requirements, physical security, records and files, government vehicles, supply and warehousing, convenience check and purchase card procedures.
