Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine has formed and is expected to develop into Tropical Storm Imelda over the weekend. This system will strengthen and move north as it approaches the Southeast coast by early next week. There is still considerable uncertainty on the track, but the latest forecast and trends would lead to a scenario with minimal impacts to north and central GA. Please continue to monitor the forecast over the coming days.
