.DISCUSSION...

No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.

Drizzle/light showers should persist across north Georgia and
portions of central Georgia through the early afternoon similar
to yesterday with rain chances at 15-30%. Winds out of the SW at
7- 12mph with gusts up to 20-25mph will fuel in enough moisture
to keep min RH values in the 50-60% range across the area. Friday
will see the front begin to push into the area with rain chances
at 70-80% with higher chances for north Georgia in the morning
before pushing into central Georgia by the afternoon. Rainfall
amounts today will be less than a tenth of an inch but could see
up to a quarter inch on Friday. Winds Friday will remain out of
the SW at 7-10mph with gusts up to 20mph for much of the area
except north Georgia (where the front has passed) which will
switch to W/NW into the late afternoon. Transport winds up to
25-30mph are expected each afternoon.
