No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.

Min RHs this afternoon have dipped into the 30s and 40s across
north and central Georgia outside of a limited area of eastern GA
where some cloud cover and showers have remained. A few afternoon
thunderstorms will be possible across northern Georgia, the
strongest of which could be severe capable of a damaging wind
gust and frequent lightning.

Moisture continues to move into the area tonight, bringing min
afternoon RHs into the upper 40s and 50s through the weekend into
early next week. Rain chances will also be on the increase
alongside cloud cover. Burn opportunities will be limited into
early next week. Areas that see afternoon and evening storms
could receive 1 to 2" of rainfall through the weekend, with
higher amounts possible where repeated rounds of storms occur.
