No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.

Ample moisture across north and central Georgia will keep minimum
RH values largely between 45-55 percent this afternoon. Winds
will be NW this afternoon at 5-10 mph, becoming 5 mph or less
after sunset. Isolated to scattered diurnal thunderstorm activity
expected for both Saturday and Sunday across all but the far
northwest fire zones of GA. Chances of showers and storms
generally 15-35%. Winds likely variable and gusty around any
thunderstorms.

Temperatures will continue to climb on Friday and Saturday, with
high temperatures rising into the mid to upper 90s. Minimum RH
values will still be well outside of critical thresholds,
remaining above 40 percent on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for central and east Georgia this
afternoon until 8 PM tomorrow for heat indices between 105 and
108 degrees each afternoon (excluding the far northeast
mountains.
