.DISCUSSION...

Clear skies expected again today but winds turn southerly through
the day with moisture beginning to increase across the region. We
will still see Low RH values today (26% to 32%) but looks like
they will stay above critical thresholds. Wind speeds today will
be a lot slower than yesterday with speeds this afternoon in the
5-10mph range. Even though RH values will be slightly higher
today and winds will be less, due to the dry conditions we may
still need a fire danger statement later this afternoon. The
South to Southwesterly flow continues into the weekend with Min
RH values expected in the 30% to 35% range Sat, and in the 40% to
45% range Sun.

Mixing heights will rise into the 4-5 kft by the late afternoon
with transport winds also turning south to southwesterly through
this afternoon in the 5-10mph range. Mixing Heights Sat will be a
little higher in the 5-7 kft range with transport winds staying
southerly in the 8-14mph range.
