.DISCUSSION...

20 ft winds today (Friday) start out calm, then increase to
around 4-7 mph out of the W-SW during the afternoon, with
transport winds increasing to 7-9 mph across central GA and
12-15 mph across north GA. Min RH values during the afternoon
will fall to 25-30% across central GA, and 30-40% across north
GA. On Saturday, 20 ft winds start out calm and then increase to
around 6-9 mph out of the W during the afternoon, with transport
winds of 13-16 mph across the area. Min RH values will be around
35-45% across the area. Peak mixing heights each afternoon will
max out in the 4-6kft range. Extreme north GA may see a light
shower or two Saturday morning but not expecting any measurable
precip through the beginning of next week. With winds expected to
go calm each night and increased moisture, we could see some
valley fog each morning across the northern mountains.
