No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.

Rain chances are expected to return today, with scattered showers
and thunderstorms (30-50% chance) developing in the early
afternoon and lingering into the evening. Several storms could
become strong, capable of producing gusty winds and minor tree
damage. Rain chances will taper off after sunset. Broken
mid-level cloud cover will become more scattered over the course
of the morning, with cloud cover increasing again in the
afternoon in the midst of the showers and thunderstorms. Minimum
RH valus this afternoon are forecast ot range from 45-55%. Winds
will shift to SE and increase to 5-10 mph while S/SE transport
winds increase to 8-15 mph, with the highest values in the
western half of the state. Mixing heights will peak between
4.5-6.5 kft in the mid-afternoon hours.

Lower rain chances are forecast on Monday, with isolated showers
and thunderstorms (15-25% chance) in far northwest Georgia in the
afternoon. Minimum RH values will range from 35-45% in areas
south of I-85 and 45-55% to the north. Winds will be SE at
5-10 mph once again, with slightly higher wind speeds in
east-central Georgia in the mid to late afternoon as the sea
breeze works its way inland. Mixing heights on Monday will be
slightly higher than today, ranging from 5.5-7 kft.
