No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will return to portions of
east- central Georgia this afternoon, while conditions are
expected to remain dry in areas to the west and north of Macon.
Minimum RH values this afternoon are forecast to be between
35-45 percent in north Georgia and 45-55 percent in central
Georgia. Winds will be E/NE between 6-12 mph with gusts of
15-20 mph in areas along and south of I-20 and SE at 4-8 mph in
areas north of I-20.

Coverage of scattered thunderstorms will be more expansive on
Thursday afternoon, reaching as far north as the south Atlanta
metro area. Minimum RH values on Thursday will be slightly higher
than today, ranging from 40-50 percent across north Georgia and
50-60 percent in central Georgia. Winds on Thursday will be light
and variable in the morning, becoming SW at 4-8 mph in north
Georgia and SE at 4-8 mph in central Georgia.
