No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.

Ample moisture across north and central Georgia will keep minimum
RH values between 45-55 percent this afternoon. Winds will be NW
this afternoon at 5-10 mph, shifting to SW and decreasing to less
than 5 mph after sunset. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are
expected from mid-afternoon into the evening across mostly the
central- southern fire zones. A few of these storms may become
strong to severe, and capable of producing gusty winds and
frequent lightning. Rainfall rates with these stronger storms may
also exceed 2 inches per hour. Temperatures will continue to
climb on Thursday and Friday, with high temperatures rising into
the mid to upper 90s. Minimum RH values will still be well
outside of critical thresholds, ranging from 45-55 percent on
Thursday and Friday afternoons. Heat indices in the triple digits
will be highest in central/east Georgia and the Oconee National
Forest during the late week, and a Heat Advisory could be
warranted in this area as early as Thursday.
