.DISCUSSION...

No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.

As moisture slowly returns, RH values slowly begin to increase
each afternoon. Values lower to the 30s, possibly upper 20s again
this afternoon then upper 30s to 40s on Thursday. Winds will stay
out of the E to SE through Thursday turning southerly by Friday
as precip chances begin increase for the weekend. Wind speeds
will be 10mph or less with transport winds seeing similar
struggles as high pressure holds on.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms return to both the northern
and southern zones Friday afternoon with coverage becoming more
widespread by Saturday. Rain and the chance for thunderstorms
will continue thru the weekend. The current forecast calls for
rain totals of 3-5 inches across north GA and 2 to 4 inches
across central portions of the state Friday through Monday.
