Showers and embedded thunderstorms will increase in coverage across northeast and north central FL on this afternoon and evening. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, with a few strong storms and locally heavy downpours being possible, especially at coastal locations.
Chances for showers and some embedded thunderstorms increase today across much of northeast FL. An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm will be possible this afternoon and evening towards the I-75 corridor as a breezy onshore flow pushes inland throughout the day. Primary hazards would be gusts up to 40-60 mph, minor flooding from locally heavy downpours, and small hail.
