Dry conditions and high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s will continue through Saturday. This will lead to great conditions for outings on Friday or Saturday. Isolated storms could occur on Sunday, but widespread beneficial rainfall is improbable.
Drought conditions have expanded across portions of central and southern Georgia over the last week. Unfortunately, the probability of appreciable rainfall in the week ahead is low; as a result, drought conditions are unlikely to improve.
