Low relative humidity, gusty winds, dry fuels and vegetation will lead to dangerous fire weather conditions on Saturday. A Red Flag Warning is in effect 8 AM - 8 PM Saturday. Any fire has the potential to spread rapidly.

A cold front moving through Georgia this morning will cool temperatures back down to near normal for the weekend. A warming trend with a return to above normal temperatures will kick in from Monday through the middle of next week.

The forecast for late next week favors warmer-than-normal temperatures (70% to 80% chance) across most of the Southeast. The forecast also favors normal to above-normal precipitation (not shown).
