Frigid Airmass to Bring Significantly Colder Temperatures; Snow Continues Downwind of the Great Lakes

A frigid cold airmass will bring significantly colder weather across the eastern two thirds of the country early this week. Record low temperatures are expected in the Southeast by Tuesday morning. Severe intensity drought conditions are increasing across southwest through central Oklahoma and western north Texas due to no measurable rainfall over the last weeks with vegetation drying out.

Local Weather History For November 9th...
Dense fog developed over parts of western Oklahoma during the early
and mid-morning hours of November 9th, 2007. Multiple accidents
occurred as a result of the poor visibility, including a school bus
that collided with a car and pickup. Multiple injuries occurred as a
result of the fog, but thankfully no fatalities.
