High air temperatures and humidity will combine to push heat indices above 105 "Feels-Like" degrees by around lunch time, peaking near 109 degrees during maximum daytime heating in the afternoon.
Expect another warm night for the rest of Labor Day (mid-70s) before hazardous heat returns Tuesday with widespread chances of triple-digit heat, light winds, and rain chances south of I-20 through the afternoon. Exercise caution outdoors during the day.
Despite some recent rainfall, flash drought conditions continue across the entire Four State Region. As a result, much of the region remains under a Burn Ban at this time.
Here are today's climate records for selected sites across our Four-State area.
