The potential for very large hail, long track tornadoes, severe wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes and flash flooding are in the outlook. .DISCUSSION...


Expect a warm and humid week with high temperatures hovering in the
upper 80s and low 90s. Heat Indices in the upper 90s to low 100s
are expected in valley locations across the central and southern
TN valley. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are possible each
day, particularly during the peak heating hours. Overnight lows
will be mild, generally settling in the low 70s. Overall, classic
summer conditions will prevail across the region.
