Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
227 PM EDT Wed Jun 3 2026
.DISCUSSION...
A drier weather pattern will take place through most of the
weekend, as well as a gradual warming of temperatures. Low end
rain chances return next week. Dew points will remain low into the
weekend meaning afternoon relative humidities should drop to
around the 40th percentile for many locations in the afternoons
before quickly recovering after sunset. Winds are expected to be
light and variable most days.
