Showers and thunderstorms are expected from Texas to the Northeast through Tuesday. Heavy rain will create mainly localized areas of flash flooding across the central Gulf Coast into the Appalachians. Elevated to Critical fire weather conditions due to gusty winds and low humidity are expected through Tuesday across Oregon and Nevada. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Northwest. .DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few thunderstorms will spread over the area through
the morning, then decrease again from north to south during the
afternoon. Some of these showers and storms will bring torrential
downpours, with localized flooding possible. Sunday will be mainly
dry, then additional showers and storms will return on Monday.
A drier weather pattern is expected through most of next week.
