National Weather Service Morristown TN
132 AM EDT Sun Sep 20 2026
.DISCUSSION...
Abnormally hot temperatures can be expected to continue through
Monday as we remain under the influence of the upper level ridge to
our west. Shower and thunderstorm chances will be in place each day,
mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. A strong to severe
storm cannot be ruled out each day through Monday. Additional rain
chances arrive mid-week along with temperatures closer to seasonal
averages.
