Severe thunderstorm and heavy rainfall threats will persist from the Midwest to Lower Great Lakes through Monday, shifting into the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians Monday evening into Tuesday. .DISCUSSION...

Afternoon showers and thunderstorms impact our northern TN and
southwestern VA counties. An additional round of thunderstorms is
likely this evening into tonight. These will be capable of producing
heavy rainfall rates and isolated flash flooding. There will multiple
chances for scattered showers and storms through Friday, especially
during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will be right around normal
through Friday, before head builds in over the weekend.
