Tropical Depression in the Gulf; Severe Thunderstorms Monday

Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Areas of flash flooding will be possible through Thursday along the eastern and central Gulf Coast. Severe thunderstorms will develop and move along a cold front crossing the Upper Midwest Monday, and through the Ohio Valley/Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday. Read More >

.DISCUSSION...


Periods of isolated to scattered showers and storms will continue
through Tuesday, with increasingly hot and humid conditions into
the new work week. A few storms may be strong to severe early
Monday morning and again on Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday will be
the most humid with heat indices climbing into the low 100s.
Conditions trend drier and with slightly less humidity mid to late
week. Rain chances return by next weekend.

Most Likely Snow Accumulation

Represents our official snow forecast in inches within the next one to three days. The snowfall amounts are provided in point (single number) and ranges (1-2", 2-4", etc.). The point amount is our forecast but the range for the "most likely" represents the forecast uncertainty in predefined ranges.
