Pacific moisture will continue to bring locally heavy coastal/lower elevation rain and heavy mountain snow to the West Coast and portions of the Intermountain West through Monday. A wintry mix will create hazardous travel across the northern Plains and Upper Midwest into early Monday. ...Wind Advisory is in effect for the far east Tennessee Mountains
and Foothills from this Evening through Friday Morning...

Unseasonably warm conditions will continue through the end of the
week. A strong system will move across the Tennessee valley and
southern Appalachians Friday through Saturday bringing periods of
showers and possibly a thunderstorm, along with strong winds to the
mountains and foothills. Much needed rainfall is expected across
much of the region.
