November Outlook
Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s November outlook, all of north and central Georgia has equal chances of above, normal, or below normal temperatures. For precipitation, portions of northern Georgia have a 33 to 40% chance of above average precipitation and portions of central Georgia have a 40 to 50% chance of above average precipitation.
November Drought Outlook
Based on the U.S. Monthly Drought Outlook for November, portions of north and central Georgia may experience an improvement in drought conditions, and in some locations drought removal may be likely. A new Drought Information Statement will be posted to our webpage on November 7th and on November 21st.
