A blustery Pacific cold front will cross west central, northwest, and north central New Mexico this morning with a brief but moderate snow squall likely producing wind gusts up to 45 mph, visibilities around a quarter to half mile, and an inch or so of snow in about an hour. Temperatures will be cold enough for the snow to stick to roads, creating hazardous travel conditions. Longer duration snowfall is forecast in the mountains, where a few to several inches of snow are expected.
