Lingering Winter Weather in Interior New England; Snow Squalls Developing Downwind of the Lower Great Lakes

A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. Winds are expected to increase with a passing cold front this morning, making travel difficult for high-profile vehicles in some areas. Be sure to secure loose objects! With that said, a Wind Advisory is in effect from 5 AM MST/6 AM CST through 11 AM MST/Noon CST Friday.
