A few strong to severe storms may develop this afternoon and evening as a weak front clips the TN Valley. The main threat with these storms will be localized damaging winds. Make sure you have multiple ways to get warnings, especially if you have outdoor plans.
After a hot day on Friday (highs in the 80s to around 90 degrees), shower and storm chances return Saturday through early Sunday morning. Dry weather then builds back in for late in the weekend, albeit fairly cool with highs topping out in the 60s!
