Seasonably cool weather with a slight chance of rain will accompany a weak cold front today. Areas that receive rain will only get a trace to a tenth of an inch. Overnight, it'll be mostly clear with lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
Strengthening high pressure aloft will lead to a warming trend next week, with high temperatures reaching 80 in many areas by Wednesday. Temperatures will be 5 to 15 degrees above normal mid to late week, with overnight lows mostly in the 50s. No rain is expected.
Daylight savings time ends at 2 am Sunday. Remember to set your clocks back 1 hour before going to bed Saturday night. This is also a good time to practice your family safety plans including changing batteries in fire alarms and other alerting devices, and practicing fire drill and severe weather sheltering plans.
