Tropical Storm Imelda Forms; Another Round of Heavy Rain and Potential Flooding in the Southwest

Tropical Storm Imelda has formed near the Bahamas Sunday afternoon, and continues to bring heavy rainfall. The risk of significant wind impacts from Imelda along the Southeast coast are decreasing.     When is the climate information on the radio? Look for it in the program schedule.
     

  • SAME Alert Tests are normally conducted each Wednesday between 10 and and Noon (typically around 11 am) and again between 6 pm and 8 pm (typically around 7 pm). Should there be a threat of or existing severe weather, the test will be postponed until the next available good weather day.
