There is a slight chance of storms across East Texas on Friday, but most areas will remain dry. A Critical wildfire threat will be the main story on Friday for most of North and Central Texas. Avoid all outside burning and welding, and do not toss lit cigarette butts outside. Report wild fires to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.
Very low relative humidity and gusty winds will bring elevated fire weather danger to much of central and north-central Texas Tuesday through Thursday this week.
Join us for the Eastland County Severe Weather Education/SKYWARN class on Tuesday March 11th. The class will be held at the Eastland Fire Station at 6 PM.
