Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Deteriorated road conditions will continue across North Texas with low impacts in Central Texas. Improvement is expected later this morning across much of North Texas. Conditions along the Red River will not improve until early to mid afternoon. Any water on the roads will refreeze tonight into Saturday morning with hazardous conditions again for North TX!
