Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Please limit your submissions to events in which you have witnessed at least one of the following. Always include the time the event happened and the location:

  • Tornado, waterspout, or funnel cloud: Give as much detail as possible regarding your location and how far away and in what direction you observed the feature.
     
  • Wind Damage: Any structural damage, downed trees or power poles.
     
  • Hail: Specify the size, location, and time of occurrence.
     
  • Flooding: Report any flooding of homes, businesses or roads that are impassable.
     
  • Heavy Rain: Include storm totals. Rain rates of more than 3" in a hour are especially helpful.
