Increased chances for showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast this afternoon and again on Thursday and Friday as a cold front moves through. Overall rainfall amounts will range from 1-2" with the highest totals across our northern areas.
A few showers and storms may linger into the evening hours, generally across the northern half of Central Alabama. Lows tonight dip into the mid to upper 60s.
Monday will feature highs in the upper 80s to low 90s across the region. Chances for showers and thunderstorms continue across the northern part of the area.
