Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Event Summary

A tornado blew down many trees a couple miles west of Goldman around 10:18 pm. The tornado continued north northeast across open country before destroying 3 barns and heavily damaging 4 buildings 8 miles west of St. Joseph at 10:28 pm. The tornado heavily damaged 5 homes and destroyed several outbuildings about 5 miles south of Newellton about 10:32 pm.
