Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Lincoln/Copiah County Tornado

Event Summary

The tornado touched down 2 miles east of West Lincoln and moved through the city of Brookhaven. Then the tornado moved into Copiah County just south of Wesson and lifted at Wesson. Four homes were destroyed, 5 homes sustained major damage and extensive damage occurred to trees and power lines.
