This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered snow showers will continue to bring an additional light
snowfall under an inch for most today into this evening. Locally
higher amounts are possible across northwest Vilas County. The
light coating of snow combined with below freezing temperatures
will result slippery roads at times.

Across northeast WI, locally heavier snow showers are possible
later this afternoon into early this evening that will reduce
visibilities for motorists and could produce snowfall rates up to
around an inch per hour.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Hazardous travel is again possible Sunday afternoon into Monday
afternoon. A light powdery snowfall of 0.5 to 1.5 inches is
expected Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, although locally
higher amounts are expected across far north-central WI where lake
effect snow showers will linger into Monday.

Later Sunday night into Monday morning, strong northwest winds
are expected with gusts of 30 to 45 mph, with the highest gusts
over Door County. The combination of the strong winds and powdery
snow on ground will result in areas of blowing and drifting snow.
On the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Winnebago, near whiteout
conditions will be possible.

Bitterly cold temperatures arrive late this weekend into early
next week. The coldest time frames will be early Monday and
Tuesday mornings, with widespread wind chill readings of 20 to 30
below zero possible. Little relief is expected during the rest of
the week.

National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Northwest gales are likely late Sunday night and Monday morning. A
Gale Watch has been issued for the bay and Lake Michigan.
