Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered rain/storm activity will continue mainly south of
Highway 29 through this morning. Heavy rain and small hail will
continue to be possible within embedded storms.

Following a brief lull in precipitation, additional storm chances
return this afternoon. Some storms could become strong in and
around the Fox Valley, with large hail and gusty winds being the
primary concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Wintry precipitation returns to northern Wisconsin late Sunday
night into Monday morning.

Spotters are requested to report any instances of hail to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Lake
Michigan and the waters of Green Bay.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Conditions hazardous to small craft continue along the Lake
Michigan nearshore waters through this afternoon due to wave
heights. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect.

Showers and storms will continue to be possible through this
evening, with some storms possibly becoming strong this
afternoon. Large hail and gusty winds will likely accompany
stronger storms, although any storm may pose a threat to mariners.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Conditions hazardous to small craft will be possible at times
Sunday night through Monday.
