Increasing thunderstorm coverage is expected this afternoon with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, especially south of Waycross, GA. Storms will move slowly, and strong storms may produce rainfall at a rate of 3 to 5 inches per hour. Though individual storms aren't likely to last an hour, they still have the potential to wring out 1 to 2 inches of rain as they "pulse up."
