Dangerous Cold Persists through Monday; Wintry Weather from the Northern Plains to the Great Lakes

Bitter cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills will persist from Florida to the Northeast through Monday. Daily record low temperatures are forecast across the Southeast and Florida, with some all-time February low temperature records possible across Florida. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Friday morning. There is also a High Risk of rip currents at area beaches through Friday night.
After a cold start to the day, a sunny and mild day is expected with daytime highs in the 60's. Saturday will be a bit warmer topping out in the mid 60s to mid 70s. Sunday morning will be a bit on the cool side, but after that we will be in a warming trend with rain-free conditions through most of next week.
