Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. May 25, 2015: Winston County EF-0 Tornado

 

Event Summary
This brief weak tornado began along MS Highway 14 in western Winston County, moving to the northeast and ending along rural Dempsey Road. Along the path multiple trees were uprooted and large limbs were blown out of several trees. A small boat was lifted and tossed several yards, and water was lifted into the air from a pond.
