Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Scott County EF-1 Tornado

 

Event Summary
This tornado touched down just southeast of Hillsboro-Ludlow Road and tracked northeast for roughly 3 miles to near the Leake County line. Multiple trees were snapped and uprooted at the beginning of the track before the damage became just a couple of trees and limbs downed.
