Ashley/Chicot County EF-2 Tornado
2.5 N Portland to 6 NE Portland
Along the tornado path, 10 power poles were snapped, several irrigation pivots were overturned, several homes suffered minor roof damage, a carport was destroyed, tin was taken off numerous outbuildings, and numerous trees were snapped and uprooted.
Lake Village Straight-line Winds
Lake Village/Lake Chicot area
In addition to the tornado, the survey team examined damage in the area around Lake Village and along Lake Chicot. It was determined that this damage, primarily downed trees and power lines, was straight-line winds on the order of 70 to 80 mph.
Greenville Straight-line Winds
Between Greenville and Wayside to near Tribbett
Additional damage occurred around Greenville, and was also found to be straight-line winds around 70 to 80 mph. Many trees and limbs were brought down but the damage was scattered in nature. Also, several power poles were snapped but the wood on some of the poles was rotten.
