Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Webster/Choctaw Counties Tornado

Event Summary

The tornado caused extensive damage to numerous roofs of homes and severe damage to several mobile homes. Numerous sheds and barns were heavily damaged. Thousands of trees were snapped or uprooted and several power poles were snapped. A gas station was severely damaged in the community of Sapa and the canopy was carried away. This tornado appears to be part of a family of tornadoes that hit the Choctaw/Webster counties area in association with the same storm.
