Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Sunflower County Tornado

 

Event Summary

Numerous trees were blown down along with a large portion of the roof taken off a home. Numerous outbuildings and barns damaged or destroyed. Several mobile homes were damaged either from trees falling on them or from the wind. One mobile home was destroyed and the frame was wrapped around a tree. A store(structure was like a mobile home) was destroyed along with several homes suffering major roof damage. A 100 ft. antenna was bent over and a second antenna was down and bent. 15 power poles were snapped along the path as well.
