Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Holmes County Tornado

Event Summary

The tornado touched down near a farm on Huckleberry Road. It damaged the entire east facing half of a storage shelter and peeled off half of the sheet metal roof. This debris was thrown about 25 yards across Huckleberry Road into a field. As the tornado traveled to the north-northeast, it snapped a few hardwood and softwood trees and limbs. The tornado lifted just as it crossed County Road 68.
