Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Pisgah Tornado

Event Summary

This tornado began along Highway 25 just southwest of Sand Hill and ended along the Rankin/Scott County line along Pat Holmes Road. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted, the roof of a house was damaged, two outbuildings were heavily damaged, two 18 wheeler trailers were overturned and minor damage occurred to a mobile home.
