Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Copiah County Tornado

Event Summary

This tornado downed a number of trees and large limbs in a convergent pattern along James Road and Tillmantown Lane. Straight line winds estimated at 80 mph associated with this storm uprooted and snapped a number of trees on Monticello Road, including downing trees which landed on two vehicles.
