A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Event Summary for Tornado Number 1 This storm tracked east-northeastward across western and central Claiborne County and produced a tornado. This tornado briefly touched down west-northwest of Port Gibson along Waterloo Road. Numerous trees were snapped and large branches were scattered by the tornado. |

Event Summary for Tornado Number 2 This tornadic thunderstorm followed on the heels of the previous tornadic storm that tracked across Claiborne County. Similar to the previous tornado...the second tornado tracked northeastward across a small portion of central Claiborne County. The tornado with the second storm was stronger than the first. Damage from this second tornado included scattered large trees uprooted and numerous tree limbs snapped across a portion of Shiloh Road. |
