Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Lincoln County Preliminary Damage Report

Starting Point: 2.5 Miles East of Brookhaven-Lincoln County Airport at 900 AM CST
Ending Point: 2 Miles West of Woolworth Community
Preliminary Rating: EF2 with Maximum Estimated Wind of 120 MPH
Approximate Path Length: 9 Miles
Maximum Width: 100 Yards
Casualties: No Fatalities, 1 Injury

Summary: Most significant damage occurred just south of Huecks Crossing along Beeson Road where two mobile homes were obliterated. The debris was swept from the foundations with large debris including furniture and appliances thrown more than 100 yards. Additionally... numerous large trees including both pines and hardwoods were snapped and uprooted. A shop was destroyed and two homes suffered significant roof damage.

Elsewhere along the path numerous trees were snapped and uprooted...some of them very large. Several other homes suffered moderate roof damage and power lines were downed.
