A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. From September 9th through the 12th, a stationary front set up across central and southern Wisconsin. Temperatures north of the front were in the upper 50s to the 70s, while south of the front temperatures were in the 80s and 90s. Several rounds of thunderstorms moved along the stationary front, bringing heavy rain and flooding to portions of central and northeast Wisconsin. Flooding was noted in the city of Green Bay, while the East River flowed out of its banks. The high water levels of the East River closed Highway GV south of Highway 172, and inundated Green Isle Park. The heavy rains came to end Thursday night into early Friday morning (13th) as a cold front swept eastward across the area.
