Extremely critical fire weather concerns for portions of the southern High Plans as strong wind and very dry conditions could result in rapid spread of any fires. We are looking for an administrative support assistant to join our office! As an administrative support assistant, you will perform the following duties:

Provide administrative support to staff and supervisors, including overseeing time and attendance, personal actions, travel, and personal property. Schedule appointments and arrange for time, participants, and locations of meetings in accordance with instructions from supervisor or other higher graded personnel.
Initiate and monitor processing of purchase orders for recurring and nonrecurring service contracts, equipment, and supplies; and advise supervisor of budgetary discrepancies or impending shortfalls; maintain budget record, monitoring commitments, obligations, and funding requirements.
Provide quality control screening of all supervisor's incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Act as a liaison with the National Weather Service (NWS) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrative Support Offices on all administrative matters.
