Light to moderate snow comes to an end from west to east this morning, with blustery northwest winds blowing the new snow pack and resulting in continued slick roads and reduced visibilities through the morning.
Overnight and morning wind chills fall into the single digits above/below zero through Tuesday morning with much colder weather for Thursday, which will see wind chills around -15 to -25!
Light snow and gusty winds subside by midday today with several more rounds of light snow possible (20-50% chance) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week. Overall snow amounts are expected to be an inch or less with each system. Cold weather sticks around for the week with temperatures running 10-15 degrees below normal. Morning wind chills through Tuesday fall into the single digits below zero with another shot of colder air on Thursday sending morning wind chills down to -15 to -25.
Even though our winter storm is coming to an end, roads may remain snow covered and slick for the remainder of the weekend. Please be sure to check on road conditions before heading out and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.
