Lingering Winter Weather in Interior New England; Snow Squalls Developing Downwind of the Lower Great Lakes

A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. 2019 was a record year for precipitation at La Crosse and Rochester. Rochester not only set a new all-time mark, but beat the previous record by over 11 inches and exceeded its normal by 22 inches!
