Last Map Update: Fri, Dec 26, 2025 at 4:06:40 am CST

This near record to record stretch of unusually warm weather will continue through Saturday. More daily records are likely to fall, and there is a chance that some all-time December records could be tied or broken as well.
Sharply colder temperatures are expected from Sunday into Sunday night behind a strong cold front. A low to medium chance of rain precedes the front, with a low chance of a wintry mix before the precipitation shifts east. At this point, road impacts are not expected with any wintry precipitation. Continue to monitor forecasts into the weekend and prepare outdoor pets and animals for dramatically colder temperatures.
Widespread wind chills in the teens are expected Monday morning behind the Sunday to Sunday night strong cold front.
Very warm conditions will prevail through Saturday and into parts of Sunday before sharply colder temperatures arrive behind a cold front Sunday into Sunday night. Temperatures will moderate toward the middle of next week, with temperatures nearer to normal. Low to medium rain chances will accompany the front, with a low chance of a wintry mix north of I-40 as the precipitation moves out.
