Snow in the Rockies; Showers and Thunderstorms Along the Gulf Coast; Potential Winter Storm for Northern Mid-Atlantic and Interior New England

A winter-like pattern will continue over much of the Lower 48 over the next few days, with snow stretching from the Rockies today into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the Gulf Coast and Southeast on Monday. A dry cold front pushes through the region this morning and afternoon, bringing cooler temperatures and gusty winds. North-northwest gusting 20-30 mph develop behind the front, especially across NE OK. Wind chill values predominantly in the 30s/ lower 40s through the day.
A cold front moves through the area today bringing cool conditions through Monday. Temperatures warm mid to late week with breezy SW winds. Another cold front arrives late this week, bringing much colder temperatures. Rain chances remain very low through this week.
