Severe thunderstorms will be possible from the central Plains to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Monday. Hazardous heat will linger across the southern U.S. and build across the West through mid-week. Strong to severe thunderstorms may be ongoing Tuesday morning, mainly across SE OK. Additional severe weather will be possible mainly late Tuesday evening and overnight.
Strong to severe thunderstorms may be ongoing across portions of the area Wednesday morning before decreasing by the afternoon. Additional strong to severe weather will be possible Wednesday night.
Multiple rounds of heavy rain are expected Tuesday to Thursday. Widespread 1 - 3” rainfall totals are forecast, with locally higher amounts. Areas of flash flooding and river flooding are expected.
