Cooler temperatures will be in place today, with a chance for snow showers and flurries, especially in the morning. Snow chances will increase in the eastern UP late tonight into Tuesday morning, and light snow accumulations (around an inch or less) are possible there. Temperatures will moderate later in the week, with highs of 50 degrees possible as far north as M-72 by Thursday. However, rain and snow are also likely by Thursday. And sharply cooler weather will arrive for Friday.
