A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Weather Forecast Office
The National Weather Service office in Indianapolis issues fire weather forecasts for central Indiana. During the fire weather seasons of February 15 - April 30 and October 1 - December 15, narrative forecasts are issued at 4:00 AM and 4:00 PM Eastern time. Outside of fire weather seasons, the narrative forecast is issued once per day at 4:00 AM.
