A strong surface high far north of the state and Hurricane Lowell
passing to the south, will generate strong to near gale force
trade winds through Friday. While there is still high uncertainty
on the track of Hurricane Lowell, confidence is increasing for
the potential of hazardous southwest swells from Lowell early
next week especially for the western half of the state.
